The Museum's Education and Cultural Action department is taking part for the first time in the Zinetxiki Zinemaldia, becoming one of the festival's venues and offering a programme of films and related activities. This festival aims to be a showcase for audio-visual productions for children and young people and as such to contribute to the development of a cinematic gaze. Organised by the Begira Association, it will take place on the weekends of 19-20 and 26-27 November.

On 23 and 24 November the Museum will be offering a Film Schools programme, showing a selection of titles made by students at film schools in different provinces of Spain and abroad and which will introduce the audience to their vision of the world, their hopes, aspirations and reality.
Among the festiva's activities is a Masterclass followed by an Express Workshop, which together aim to offer teachers and students of Teacher Training, Fine Arts and Art History a series of educational resources that will help to promote audio-visual culture within the educational system as an effective vehicle for encouraging creativity, stimulating the imagination and developing a critical spirit.
