The online collection and picture sale

The On-line Collection of the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum' is the documentary organisation system of the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum's Collection. The project's initial phase lasted from 2001 to 2006 and was part of a series of initiatives in support of art, culture and research that IBERDROLA runs under its corporate social responsibility programme. The main reason for its creation was the need to cover the information, documentation and research concerning the Museum's collection, which is characterised by its volume (over seven thousand objects d'art) and by its chronological range (from the 12th century to the present time).
